Qualified professionals with comprehensive knowledge of the entire life-cycle of a compressor. They are supported by over 50 internal subject specialists who provide deep insights into areas not normally covered during ordinary compressor training.
Jose (Pepe) Gonzalez
Pepe has been working in the gas compression business for the last 20 years. During this time, he has worked as a Compressor Technician, Technical Support, EOHS representative, and Technical Trainer. Looking for new opportunities, he relocated to Winterthur from Burckhardt Compression in Waller, US in October 2023, to take a position as global technical trainer at Burckhardt Compression Headquarters. He lives in Winterthur with his wife. Originating from Mexico he is fluent in Spanish, English as his second language. Pepe is looking forward to sharing his training experiences and knowledge to help others develop.
Clive Tappenden
Clive is our global technical trainer with years of experience both in working with customers and a compressor technician. He has spent the last 8 years of his career working for Burckhardt Compression supporting our customers and delivering the Service ethos. Clive’s background is compressors of all shapes, sizes and denominations. It is fair to say that he brings his passion to succeed to our Training & Development Team.

Training Center
Our modern facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for both theory and hands-on training. Located next door to the compressor production & testing facilities you will visit the production area for new compressors and compressor components and see the vast production machinery and capabilities of this modern manufacturing site.
